Norcex group is the most important producer and quarrier of brazilian slate, but above all is leader in technology, experience and working quality. The production, totally made in Brazil, is followed from the beginning (extraction) to the end (packing) by highly skilled people, under rigorous quality control. All this, with a strong packing, allows the different companies to store and re-sell the material without having to classify or pack again. Norcex group has also it's own commercial structure in Italy and a warehouse in Carrara. This way we reduce the differences of language, time-zone and delivery times, offering the possibility of buying a full container FOB Rio de Janeiro, door to your place or Franco our warehouse in Carrara (pallets or full truck).

More than 20 years ago, Norcex group started the industrialization of the extraction and the production of slate in Brazil. In the beginning, the efforts were mainly concentrated on the production of billiards' tops, and, towards 1996, we started the diversification of the production with tiles and slabs in the different colours. The consolidation of a commercial structure in Europe has given the cue and made the difference in servicies and quality. The group today has hundreds of employees, and excavation extensions, machinery and production plants that have to be visited to see the importance of the investments that have been made The main target all throught these years has always been the improvement of the quality and the optimization of the services to the customer. Our group still continues in this effort and hopes to still deserve it's customer's fidelity.
